We, the underwritten, demand that YouTube reinstates all material uploaded on Sami Yusuf's Official Personal YouTube page.
Sami Yusuf has been involved in a long-running dispute with his former record label, Awakening Worldwide, as a result of which he has left them and no longer wishes to associate himself with them. He has clearly stated this in numerous televised and published interviews.
If YouTube decide to ignore this petition, as fans of Sami Yusuf, we demand an explanation as to what makes them act on Awakening Worldwide's requests, when in fact the videos in question, most notably that of Sami Yusuf's track "You Came To Me", recorded and filmed after he left them, had nothing to do with Awakening Worldwide.
Please act appropriately and look at the facts and conduct sufficient investigation before removing videos that have nothing to do with those claiming copyright ownership.

'You Came To Me' was produced by ETM International, which to this day is Sami Yusuf's record label and his management. Awakening Records (a division of Awakening 'Worldwide' Ltd.) lodged a false complaint, claiming copyrights on this video which they didn't spend a penny on. They waved the deceptive five-album contract which they fooled Sami into, across YouTube's face, claiming they 'possess' Sami and exercised their authority on Sami's work.
Sami has moved on, he's signed by ETM International and is working hard to finish his third, official album. But it appears as though his name, his reputation and his work would continue to bear the brunt of this ugly saga which to date is uglier than ever.

Here's a few lines from a new song I wrote recently.

I, like all of you, was quite horrified by what happened today.
It's a long road... but It can end at any time. We will get the video back iA as it is produced and paid for by ETM International. But, this does not end here. I have remained silent (on so many countless issues) out of dignity and self-respect and will continue doing so iA. Actions speak louder than words and all is clear to see. We should Judge accordingly.
We'll get the Video back iA - Everyone, be calm and with ALLAH swt. If we have Him, we need nobody/nothing in life.
